How do transitions work?
Off, only when it fits, or on every cut — with the transitions you allow.

Choose how transitions are used between shots:
- Off — only hard cuts.
- When it fits — a soft transition where a hard cut would feel abrupt (a jump to a different kind of shot off the beat), sometimes a punchy one that hits the beat, and clean cuts everywhere else.
- Every cut — every cut gets one: punchy on the beat or at a change of shot, soft otherwise.
Under the mode you can tick which transitions are allowed — zoom punch, white flash, dip to black, crossfade, whip pan, push up, spin in, zoom blur, impact shake, light leak and four tile effects.
Videos with a single shot have no cut, so no transition. You can change any transition later in the editor.
